Covington -- Owen Loyd, 83, died Wednesday in Veteran's Administration Hospital at Danville, Ill. He was born July 12, 1886. He was married to Sally Morgan Jones Oct 1, 1928. Surviving are the widow; three sons, Russell of Chicago; Frank of Arizona and Floyd of Parsons, W VA.; daughter, Mrs. Frances Watkins of Lexington Ill and 3 stepchildren, Frank Jones of Tucson, AZ; Mrs. Vivian Weinkin of Fowler and Mrs. Marie Kenner of Kingman. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Hegg Funeral Home at Covington conducted by Rev. Alfred Dobbs. There will be military rites by Covington American Legion Post 291. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
